L ‘Ermite de l ‘abbaye Notre Dame de Lure

Eh oui, dans notre monde hyper-connecté, vivent encore des Ermites.

J’en ai rencontré un. Il habite dans un lieu un peu sauvage, sans le domaine de l‘Abbaye de Notre Dame de Lure.

Elle date du XII siècle, et il n'en reste plus que l’église. Le cloître cistercisien , sans doute tombé en ruine, a dû probablement prêté ses grosses pierres pour la construction d’habitation dans les communes voisines.

L’ermite à la longue barbe blanche, est logé dans un petit bâtiment annexe à côté de l’église. En hiver, la petite route - assez pentue- qui le relie à la Départementale est souvent enneigée et donc impraticable en voiture. Alors, il s’organise comme il peut, avec ses deux chiens et ses luges…

Si vous venez l’hiver ici, ne manquez pas de lui rendre visite. Le lieu est dans la forêt de la montagne de Lure, à quelques 30 kms de la Villa Saint Marc.

Mais n’oubliez pas d’amener avec vous de la nourriture pour lui.

Il vaut mieux ne pas y aller le soir, car point d’électricité.

I met one. He lives in a rather wild place, within the domain of the Abbey of Notre Dame de Lure.

It dates from the twelfth century, and only the church remains.

The cistercisien cloister, probably fell into disrepair, had probably lent its large stones for the construction of housing in neighboring municipalities.

The hermit with a long white beard is housed in a small annex building next to the church. In winter, the small road – in slope - that connects it to the Departmental is often snowy and therefore impassable by car. So he organizes as he can, with his two dogs and sledges...

If you come here in the winter, be sure to visit him. The place is in the forest of the mountain of Lure, just 30 km from La Villa Saint Marc.

But remember to bring with you some food for him.

It is better not to go there at night because there is no electricity.
